Significance

Perform Namkaran Puja online. It is performed to formally announce the baby’s name as per the suggestion of starting letter given by panditji based on the Nakshatra of the baby. Namkaran Puja is a ritual of providing Samskaras to the child, which is considered of utmost importance in shaping the character and upbringing of a child. This ceremony is usually performed on the 11th day. Also, this puja can be done after three months or on the first birthday of the baby. The ceremony is performed by panditji starting with Gauri Ganesh Puja, Kalash Puja, Punyaha Vachanam, Namakaran is done by whispering the child’s name in the right ear and chanting of Vedic mantras and a havan is performed for the Graha Shanti of the baby.

Yes. During the sankalp, the priest clearly chants your name and gotra (if provided) before beginning the ritual. If you are booking for multiple family members, their names will also be included.

No. The puja is performed on your behalf at the temple by authorized priests. You can participate from anywhere. You do not need to be physically present at the temple to participate.

The confirmation is shared after the puja is completed, typically within 4-6 days. You will receive it via WhatsApp or email, as per your booking details.

You will need to provide your name and gotra (if known). If you do not know your gotra, you may leave it blank. The priest will proceed accordingly.
